Additive Manufacturing (AM)
3D printing and rapid prototyping technology is giving the ability to create niche precision products along with prototypes for engineers and designers. AM delivers products of high precision, improved performance, complex geometries, lower weight in a reliable and fast way. Thermoplastics polymers, metal and metal alloy powders and several ceramic materials can be used with AM technology. 32 new metal powders have been introduced into the catalogue range so far.

C-Solder®
C-Solder® is an innovative tin-based, lead-free, flux free alloy which enables the joining of various carbon materials, including carbon fibres or carbon nanotube fibres, in both carbon-carbon and carbon - metal combinations. It also solders Aluminium, Titanium and ceramic materials. The resultant bond is mechanically strong and electrically conductive. C-Solder® is used in electronics, aerospace and automotive sectors. Goodfellow is offering C-Solder in three different forms (wire, rods and foils).

Graphene Powder
Graphene is undoubtedly one of the leading nanomaterials because of its unique combination of superb properties, which opens a way for its exploitation in a wide spectrum of applications ranging from electronics to optics, polymer fillers, conductive inks, flexible LCDs and OLEDs, composites with high mechanical strength, water filters etc. In June Goodfellow will introduce the only one Ultra -high quality Green Graphene in the market, which is produced by a green method that doesn’t contain metal impurities. Goodfellow will have two grades of Graphene (predominantly single layer and multi-layer graphene) in a powder form.

Multi Wall Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs)
Carbon nanotubes are known as a new technologically important nanomaterial with numerous novel and useful properties. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), are demonstrating outstanding mechanical and electrical properties, together with thermal conductivity. MWCNTs have been found an essential material for several applications such as batteries, solar cells, transistors, nano-electronics devices, flat panel displays, energy storage, polymer composites, high performance composites etc. In June Goodfellow is introducing two forms of high quality MWCNTs into the catalogue range. One form is a “chunky” powder and the other one is a free standing “Carpet” that is to apply directly on electronic devices for exceptional electrical properties.

Green production
Launching soon our latest initiative, Goodfellow Green Production, uses environmentally sound processes to conserve energy and natural resources. We understand it can be difficult to find the right balance between product quality and reducing your carbon footprint. If you’re committed to protecting the environment like we are, you’ll love to learn that our green production products are bio-based and biodegradable. All materials we use decompose naturally whether they are exposed to soil, compost or marine sediments. They are also non-toxic which makes them ideal for medical applications.
